The Opportunity: As an experienced Procurement Manager you will lead our procurement strategy and execution across wind, solar and BESS projects, to support the delivery of our renewable energy projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Australia’s leading developers and long-term owners of renewable energy generation assets, during a very exciting time of growth.
So what's involved?
In this newly created role you will be working closely with the CEO, development team and grid connection team, and be responsible for the following:
- Leading the development of procurement and construction strategies for wind, solar and BESS projects that best address the technical, legal, financial, and quality directives for each project.
- Prioritising and promoting safety in the negotiation of contracts – safety comes first, always!
- Leading the tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and completion of procurement contracts to meet project timescales.
- Project managing procurement contracts to ensure that the required schedules, responsibility matrices, contract drafting etc. are completed within project timelines.
- Minimising contract interface scope gaps and risks, taking account of land, permits/approvals, grid, technical, legal, and engineering and other project obligations and requirements.
- Keeping management informed on procurement progress and escalating key risks/bottlenecks as needed.
- Engaging regularly with external suppliers and contractors to ensure use of the best technology, keeping up to date with technology design updates and other factors which may influence procurement selection.
What we're looking for
You will be an experienced Procurement Manager with >5 years of renewable energy procurement experience in the energy sector in Australia. Qualifications in Science, Commerce, Engineering, Law, Environmental or a related discipline are desirable, however, not essential.
You must have a good understanding of legal and contractual aspects of renewable energy procurement contracts, coupled with strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment without compromising attention to detail and the quality of your work. You are very comfortable leading and managing extended complex negotiations and you take ownership of deliverables. You work just as well in a team as you do by yourself and you maintain a flexible approach.
You’ll be competent in the MS Office Suite including MS Project.

The Opportunity: As an experienced Solar Engineer you are responsible for designing, analysing and optimising solar energy systems using industry-led software, to support the delivery of our renewable energy projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Australia’s leading developers and long-term owners of renewable energy generation assets, during a very exciting time of growth.
So what's involved?
In this newly created role you will be working closely with our Senior Development Engineer and be responsible for the following:
- Designing and engineering solar energy systems, including site assessments, system sizing-shading analysis and equipment selection.
- Utilising solar modelling software to create detailed simulations, generating reports and optimising system design.
- Developing custom tools and scripts to automate, streamline and enhance solar energy modelling capabilities.
- Using GIS tools to analyse and visualise spatial data for solar resource assessment and site selection.
- Conducting performance evaluations and feasibility studies for solar projects.
- Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of solar projects.
- Providing innovative solutions and recommendations by staying up to date with industry trends, solar technology advancements and regulatory requirements
- Preparing technical reports, presentations and documentation to communicate project findings.
What we're looking for
- You will be an experienced Solar Engineer with a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience gained from working in the energy sector.
- You’ll have a degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related discipline. A Master’s in a related discipline is a bonus.
- You have hands-on experience and strong knowledge of PVsyst, SolarFarmer or similar software. Proficiency in Python or similar programming language, and experience working with GIS tools, (Manifold or QGIS) is highly desirable.
- You must have a good understanding of solar energy principles, photovoltaic system, and solar energy technologies. You must familiar with electrical concepts and electrical schematics and their application related to solar energy systems. You have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in solar energy calculations, including system sizing, energy yield estimation and financial analysis.
- You are a strong problem solver who is able to work across multiple projects simultaneously without compromising attention to detail. You are a confident and technically clear communicator and enjoy working collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders.
- You have knowledge of industry standards, codes and regulations related to solar energy systems.
